At just thirteen miles from the Pacific Ocean, the estate is in one of the cooler winegrowing corners of Santa Barbara County and is on the western edge of the Santa Maria Valley appellation. Since inception the family has been producing award winning wines, using the finest selection of barrels from world-renowned cooperages to gracefully age the wines to their fullest expression. The Dierberg estate is not open to the public, however with our exclusive partnership with the Dierberg family, guests booking the Dierberg Suite can experience the winery and estate with a private tour and tasting followed by a catered gourmet lunch at the estate overlooking Happy Canyon. On the evening prior to your journey (via private transfer to and from Malibu and Santa Barbara County), enjoy some of the exceptional wines Dierberg and Star Lane offers in the comforts of your suite.
